EAEL trade association for entrepreneurial leasing companies, banks, brokers and their service firms, EAEL concerns itself with the problems, opportunities and well-being of its members and the leasing industry.

UAEL.gif (1821 bytes) UAEL is a national organization of companies in the equipment leasing and finance industry. UAEL is the governing body for the Certified Lease Professional (CLP) designation and offers training for CLPs through the Institute for Lease Professionals.

The purpose of the site is to educate lessees, lessors, brokers, and the industry in general from a legal perspective.  The site is written and maintained by Joseph Bonnano, Esq.

The National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL) (i.e. Uniform Commercial Code) is now in its 110th year. The organization is comprised of more than 300 lawyers, judges and law professors, appointed by the states as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, to draft proposals for uniform and model laws on subjects where uniformity is desirable and practicable, and work toward their enactment in legislatures.

The Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation develops and promotes the body of knowledge to enhance recognition and understanding of lease financing.

     The CLP Foundation is the new official governing body     for the Certified Lease Professional ("CLP") program.  The CLP designation sets the standard for professionalism in the leasing industry. This designation identifies and recognizes individuals within the leasing industry who have demonstrated their competency, through continued education, testing and conduct.
